Pressure ulcer terminology

EPUAP will continue to use the terminology and classification according to the international NPUAP/EPUAP/PPPIA 2014 Clinical Guidelines and in line with the forthcoming revisions to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding which will be released as ICD 11.

EPUAP is currently preparing a position statement on this matter, which will be available on our website as soon as possible.
