King’s College London Study to Develop IAD Manual
Researchers at King’s College London are conducting a study to develop a manual to guide prevention and treatment of incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD) – sore skin as a result of urinary or fecal incontinence.
WANT TO GET INVOLVED?
- If you have experienced or are experiencing incontinence (with or without IAD) or cared/care for someone with incontinence (with or without IAD)
- are aged 18 years old or over,
- are ideally from England or Wales,
- are willing to participate in four online workshops (one every 3 months) using Microsoft Teams.
A study funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR): PREVENT Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis through optimising care: development and feasibility of the IAD Manual. The study is seeking to develop a manual to guide the care of people with incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD).
