The Prophylactic Dressing Standards Initiative (PDSI) work is now underway!

 In News

We are delighted to introduce the Executive Board of the PDSI Task Force, which, in addition to the two Co-Chairs Professor Amit Gefen (EPUAP) and Professor David Brienza (NPIAP), includes Professor Joyce Black – former President of the NPIAP and Professor Michael Clark – former President of the EPUAP.

The Executive Board of the PDSI Task Force would like to warmly thank our industry members, including 3M, Coloplast, Convatec, Essity, Ferris Mfg. Corp., Medline Industries, Mölnlycke Health Care, Smith + Nephew and Stryker Corp. and our non-profit organization members, including the AAWC and the WOCN professional societies, for their support, partnership and participation in the PDSI Task Force work. As we are making our final preparations to kickstart the PDSI work, we are currently inviting additional companies and non-profit organizations to join us in our journey to create the testing standards for the preventative dressings of the near future. If you are representing an entity that would like to become a PDSI member, please write to Professors Gefen (gefen@tauex.tau.ac.il) and Brienza (DBRIENZA@pitt.edu) to indicate your interest. Individual members will be announced soon.

Finally, the PDSI Executive Board are pleased to invite our PDSI members to the Virtual Kickoff Meeting of the PDSI Task Force on March 31st and April 1st, 2021. This 2-day meeting will last 3-hour on each day, in the following times (per geographic time zone):
